introducing new kitten to resident cat

getting a kitten next week and my current cat (3yo) has never been around other cats. how do i do this without them killing each other

go SLOW. like really slow. separate rooms for at least a week, swap scents, then supervised visits

make sure each cat has their own resources. 2 litter boxes, 2 food spots, etc
